 What's new

  • New!! [December, 2019] I received 2019 IEEE CSS Roberto Tempo Best CDC Paper Award!
Preprint available here (at Kyoto University Repository)

  • [September, 2016] I received the Outstanding Paper Award (Takeda Award) from SICE.

Articles under review (refer to this pdf for details. Manuscript available upon request.):

  • Controllability Gramian of Gaussian process state space models with application to model sparsification
  • Optimal control node scheduling with multiple sparsity constraints
  • Differentially private mechanisms for linear dynamical systems with heavy-tailed noise
  • A fundamental performance limit of cloud-based control in terms of differential privacy level
  • Sparse optimal stochastic control

 Research Topics

My research interests include control and learning theory for complex (large scale, stochastic, networked) dynamical systems, as well as its interdisciplinary applications. In particular, the recent emphasis is placed on interplay between stochastic control theory and machine learning.
